I maintain my own spinning flock, my animals include: Giant Angora Rabbits, Angora Goats, Dorset and Shetland Sheep. Check back often as you never know what we'll add next!
Our rabbits are Ruby Eyed White Giant Angoras. They are the largest wool producing Angora. They are sheared every 2 - 3 months. Angora fiber is said to be 7 times warmer than wool alone. Great for mixing with other fibers or to spin alone. Easy to dye. |
This is our herd of wethers when they were about 4 to 7 months old in this picture. They produce mohair fiber, which is widely used in doll making. Great fiber for mixing or spinning alone. Our boys are a true white, some have a slight curl some have nice tight locks. Check our fiber page for prices and types. |
This is our Dorset ewe lamb. She is only 3 months old in this picture. Her fiber is creamy white and has a nice spring to it. Blends well with mohair and angora and wears like iron! Takes a dye well and is a very nice wool for socks. |
